Lighthouse Golf & Spa Hotel - Balchik

This place suits me perfectly! The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the heated swimming pool, great spa services, and delicious in-room breakfast. I still remember how they helped me with a local taxi on my first stay.

Friendly English speaking staff; Beautiful location and countryside, very affordable prices; The owners are serious about tourism business.

The rooms are basically unfinished: towel hooks/racks were missing, the hose in the shower was spraying water all over the bathroom; there was a hole in that wall in the bathroom with “the view” of the main gas/water pipes; the air conditioners were not working, and the TV/DVD/Stereo set wasn’t connected – it was fresh from the box. It was “work in progress” that didn’t ruined overall extra pleasant impressions.

Here I spent 7 nights and appreciated being in this place. The place was clean with a super friendly staff at reception desk. The pool was great and I had good drinks in the lobby bar. Besides, private parking on site was good.

my stay was very nice during the weekend. as for me, the location was excellent and perfect, close to great restaurants, a different beach, and the beach area. it also was in green golf courses.

Overall very relaxing stay for a short vacation. Cheap hotel with super friendly staff and perfect views over the sea. Airy, huge room with an open bathroom and a bath tub and a shower. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was large.

Very nice hotel, 5 stars. Liked the room which was very clean and facilities. Breakfast was ok, no issues. Maybe a bit warmer water in the pool which is outside could work, temperature was not really fitted for a bath during September.

great golf course and one particular guy was always around to offer help.

getting to and from the beach wasnt easy and the reception people didnt seem to have much communication with the rest of the complex (restaurant etc)

Really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were huge and clean. The view was just fine! The staff were very good. Special shoutout to the ones at the restaurant-they were super friendly! The only bummer was the wait for the room service took a bit too long. But still, overall a fab experience.

+: very quiet location, new rooms (in the hotel) and apart-hotel, good restaurant (breakfast and fish a la carte), overall excellent stay and environment

-: families with small kids; beack quite far (15 km) with limited possibility for swimming, small things to be finished in the hotel (e.g. hair-drier)

I stayed in an apartment; The apartment looked very nice; the breakfast was good

hot water smells really bad; That bad that determined me to use only cold water for showering. I asked the receptionist about it and they told me they will check and they never did(remember this is a 5 star hotel) Reception staff was moving slow; I had to wait more than 20minutes every time I had to communicate with the reception staff.(check-in, check-out, questions) I stayed for 2 nights and they didn't do any cleaning and they never changed the towels (remember this is a 5 star hotel)

100% recommend for a little getaway

Spacious room, comfortable beds, and beautiful sea view that calmed my soul , along with excellent spa facilities including a heated swimming pool that offered a great retreat from the weather.

Was all great.

Quiet place, nice hotel, good food, very good for golf and relax.

From pictures you will think that the hotel is on beach or near. but is not real, seaside is very far. Internet problems on suite.

We loved everything about Lighthouse!! We spent a week-end there and it was amazing! We will come back for sure! As a plus, one of my frinends had her birthday during our stay, and we found a bottle of wine in the room for her. Good job!

It would be awesome if they had an exchange office in the resort.
